Certification

QA Certification for service units is based on the verification of evidence:

  • Credible surveys
  • Ethel Communication™ and Geoff Observation™ Audit/Reviews
  • Reviews of complaints
  • Manager ‘Good Practice’ Audit linked to NMS
  • Staff ‘Good Practice’ Audit linked to NMS

Within an audit structure covering effective:

  • Organisation
  • ‘Listening’ processes
  • Measurement of improvement

QA certificates recognises the collective strength of staff and management teams in service units.


Senti Vocational Qualification (SVQ) Certification

Appropriate for all care workers/managers participating in working towards SQV qualifications.
Action learning evidence is used to validate individual capabilities in:

  • Operating care pathways
  • Staff ‘Good Practice’ Audit (NMS)
  • Leadership in dementia care
  • Quality management (including Manager NMS Audit)

There are no set time-scales but staff work within a supportive training environment.
Only those who complete the required evidence receive certificates.


Senti Vocational Qualification (SVQ) Mentoring


As the home works towards QA Certification, action learning supports new staff in their mentored induction to:

  • Operating care pathways
  • Staff ‘Good Practice’ Audit
  • Leadership in dementia care
  • Quality management.

Staff who complete required evidence in a supported training environment receive certificates.


Senti Accredited Trainers

Managers/Trainers with the skills to verify the action learning evidence leading to SVQ Certificates or Senti QA Certificates can receive a certificate of competency.
